Annual Pinellas County Sheriffs Charity Golf Tournament

La Cava & Jacobson, P.A. is a proud sponsor of Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office 23rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds benefit the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. The Foundation contributes to the success of youth boys and girls across the state by providing educational, leadership, and life skill programs.

La Cava & Jacobson, P.A. was a proud sponsor of the Heroes Ball honoring Community Hero, Daniel Plasencia, M.D. and raising money for the St Joseph’s Children’s Chronic Complex Clinic. The evening was a huge success raising $450,000. The Chronic Complex Clinic cares for children with the greatest medical challenges. It was announced by St Joseph’s Hospital President, Kimberly Guy that the Chronic Complex Clinic will be named after Dr. Plasencia. La Cava and Jacobson was honored to be part of this fundraising effort for such a wonderful cause.

La Cava & Jacobson Support The Philanthropic Women of St Joseph’s

Philanthropic Women of St Joseph’sLa Cava and Jacobson sponsored a table for friends, clients and lawyers at the Philanthropic Women of St Joseph’s luncheon which featured guest speaker Jenna Bush Hager. Jenna Bush Hager is the daughter of former president George Bush and author of Sisters First, a book about growing up in the White House. April La Cava participates as a leader with the Philanthropic Women organization. Philanthropic Women of St. Joseph’s is a leadership network of community-minded women who want to change and save lives in the Tampa Bay community by investing in collaboration with other women leaders. Gifts of Philanthropic Women support women, children and families at St. Joseph’s Hospitals. La Cava and Jacobson is pleased to sponsor events for this very important charitable organization.

During the month of December La Cava & Jacobson employees raised money, donated toys and food for the Metropolitan Ministries Donation Drive. Our firm added a donation on top of that. We are so thankful for our employee’s participation, generosity and initiative to make a difference in the lives of those who are not as fortunate or as blessed as we are.

La Cava and Jacobson Sponsors Georgette’s Boutique Holiday Fashion Show

La Cava and Jacobson, PA was honored to be the Presenting Sponsor of Georgette’s Boutique Holiday Fashion Show Benefiting St Joseph’s Women’s Hospital. The event raised $160,000 for the Women’s Hospital. We were especially proud to see Committee Member, April La Cava grace the runway as one of the celebrity models. A big thank you to all of the sponsors, committee members and of course Gerogette Diaz, Tashia Diaz-Walker and Bentley Garcia of Georgette’s Boutique for making the event such a big success.

La Cava & Jacobson Weedon Island Preserve Donation

April La Cava, Lou La Cava, La Cava and Jacobson and The Friends of Weedon Island were proud to make possible a beautiful bronze gopher turtle sculpture which will be permanently displayed at the Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center in St. Petersburg.  The preserve is the natural habitat for the gopher turtle. We encourage you to visit the preserve and exhibit center and to become a member of the Friends of Weedon Island. Weedon Island Preserve – “A Place to Remember

Weedon Island Preserve is an expansive 3,190-acre natural area located on Tampa Bay. This coastal system, comprised of aquatic and upland ecosystems, is home to numerous species of native plants and animals, an educational facility and a rich cultural history. Indigenous peoples occupied this site for thousands of years. Today, the preserve protects this wide diversity of natural and cultural resources for current and future generations. Weedon Island Preserve is also a well-known birding and fishing site.

La Cava & Jacobson sponsored the EWGA East Lake Woodlands Golf Event on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

The Tampa Bay Chapter consists of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. Members are business owners, corporate executives, professionals, stay-at-home moms, retirees, and entrepreneurs.

La Cava & Jacobson was a proud sponsor of the St. Pete Glitter Queens 2017 Royal Ball.  The firm’s sponsorship along with the hard work of all of the Glitter Queens helped to raise over $73,000 for the Beth Dillinger Foundation.  The Beth Dillinger Foundation is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to providing clothing and other daily necessities for maintaining health and personal hygiene for any needy child (up to eighteen years old) in and out of the foster care system. Great job Glitter Queens and The Beth Dillinger Foundation.
