Courtnee C. Reid

Courtnee C. Reid is an associate at La Cava Jacobson & Goodis’ Tampa office. She was born in Miami, Florida, but raised between Miami and Jamaica. Ms. Reid graduated from the University of Miami in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and minors in English and Sociology. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2013. While at Vanderbilt, Ms. Reid served as a research assistant, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and participated in Mock Trial. Ms. Reid was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 2014 and the District of Columbia in 2018.

Prior to joining La Cava Jacobson & Goodis, Ms. Reid represented employers, carriers and servicing agents in all aspects of workers compensation defense, including claims arising out of slip and fall and other premises-related injuries. She also represented indigent clients in underserved communities in the areas of family and civil law. Most recently, Ms. Reid defended first party property claims for national clients.

Ms. Reid will now focus her practice on general, premises and auto liability. When she is not practicing law, Ms. Reid enjoys spending time with her family, friends and traveling the world.
