Kendall Sheffer

Kendall Sheffer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Florida State University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.

While in law school, Kendall served as Assistant Executive Editor of the Stetson Business Law Review and received the Victor O. Wehle Award for excellence in trial advocacy. She gained extensive legal experience through internships and clerkships with the State Attorney’s Office for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and several Tampa Bay law firms, where she assisted in both civil and criminal matters. In addition, Ms. Sheffer volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in dependency proceedings—a role she continues to hold today.

Kendall joins La Cava, Jacobson & Goodis as an Associate in the firm’s Tampa office, where her practice primarily focuses on the defense of medical malpractice claims.
