Zachary Borello
Zachary Borello received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University with a double major in Criminology and Psychology. He then obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Stetson University College of Law.
While at Stetson, Zach was an Associate Member of the Stetson Law Review, where he honed his legal research and writing skills. He also served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Louis Virelli’s Civil Procedure course and as a Research Assistant to Professor Ellen Podgor. Zach earned the book award for achieving the highest grade in his Civil Negotiation and Mediation class.
During law school, Zach also completed a Judicial Externship with the Honorable Christopher P. Tuite of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He was actively involved in campus life, serving as a Stetson Ambassador.
Before joining the firm, Zach worked as a Summer Associate at La Cava Jacobson & Goodis in both the Jacksonville and St. Petersburg offices. He joined the firm’s St. Petersburg office as an associate in 2025, where he concentrates his practice primarily on medical malpractice defense.
