Robert B. Maldonado

Robert Maldonado attended the University of Florida and graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in anthropology. After exploring other career paths, he returned to the University of Florida Levin College of Law and earned his J.D. in 2018.

During law school, Robert worked as a legal extern for the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. He also worked as a legal intern for the Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger, Senior District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.

Prior to joining La Cava Jacobson & Goodis, Robert was a Staff Attorney and Director of the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid’s Fair Housing Unit. He also worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida.

As an Associate, Robert will be defending medical malpractice and general liability cases.
